Our commercial Outdoor Waste and Trash Receptacles are covered in a copolymer-based thermoplastic powder coating. The galvanized steel is covered with a thermoplastic coating that greatly enhances the longevity of the receptacle. Thermoplastic has many advantages over bare metal, wood or concrete. Thermoplastic is environmentally safe and it will NOT fade, crack, peel, warp, or discolor for the life of the product. Thermoplastic adheres to the metal base with the best adhesion rate of any process on the market. This characteristic removes any corrosion possibilities for the metal. The thickness of the Thermoplastic is twenty-five to thirty millimeters and this provides excellent protection and a very attractive outer surface. Another advantage of Thermoplastic is that it can be easily repaired. Cuts and scratches are repaired with the simple application of heat via an industrial heat gun. The thermoplastic will simply melt, rebind itself and “cover the wound.” In addition, spray paint can be easily removed from thermoplastic by simply washing it with a standard industrial cleaner. One of the easiest methods of spray paint removal is to spray WD-40™ on the offending graffiti. Then watch as the paint is quickly wiped off the surface. It is a simple, safe and low-cost solution. This will be a strong deterrent for future spray painting vandals.
Our commercial Outdoor Waste and Trash Receptacles are  fabricated for commercial, home, hospitality, industrial and institutional use and can be ordered with a Spun Metal Lid or an Ash Bonnet Lid. The basic features are a sturdy welded steel construction, thermoplastic finish, pre-drilled mounting holes, liner and lid included and leveler mounts included. In addition, we offer sixteen different colors to help you match your purchase with your outdoor area’s color scheme.
Our Outdoor Waste and Trash Receptacles feature several different mounting styles. The Portable Mount may have surface mount holes on the legs of the receptacle and allows the receptacle to be placed or mounted on any surface. However, the legs must be secured with bolts and anchors to prevent movement. Surface Mount receptacles have holes in the legs for bolts to be inserted into anchors embedded in the concrete. Holes must be drilled into the concrete surface to allow the anchors to be placed there and then the bolts can be inserted into the anchors. The In-Ground Mount resembles the surface mount but includes "J-Rods" to be inserted through the surface mount holes of the receptacle. The bottom of the J-Rod is them anchored or embedded in a hole filled with wet concrete. When the concrete dries the J-Rod is permanently secured to the concrete and this could be on any grass or soil surface.
