XPB Locker supplies washroom partitions to a variety of pool centers across the country. Subdivisions, like the recently completed Stonehaven community in Boerne, TX, often build community swimming pools with an accompanying pool house. Pool houses always have restrooms, and some have showers, that require restroom partitions. Many of the newer apartment complexes are also now building pool centers with restrooms and showers. Larger secondary schools with swim teams also may build pool houses for students to change and shower.
XPB Locker and Supply sells washroom partitions for pool centers on a nationwide basis. We also perform turnkey installations throughout Texas for clients who wish to contract us for this purpose.
Typically, the organizations that we work with order one of two types of washroom partitions. Pool centers will either install phenolic core partitions, or they will install solid plastic. Both substances feature remarkable moisture resistance, making it almost impossible for water to damage. Because these structures are typically high humidity environments, water resistance is the most important feature that restroom products can offer.
Swimmers routinely hang wet clothes on washroom partitions. Pool centers in many locations are very small, so they may not have separate shower facilities. Direct contact with wet clothing requires that partition materials be completely water resistant in order to prevent deterioration of the surface. In some locations, too, partitions may be the target of local vandalism. Surface materials should be reparable within budget tolerance of the organization should miscreants inflict any visible damage on partitions.
Phenolic core washroom partitions for pool centers are very durable and resistant to not only water, but also to oil. This makes it more difficult for vandals to write on them, and any oil from the skin that is present on clothing will not damage the surface. They are more expensive than solid plastic partitions and not as cost effective to repair. Typically they are found in larger pool centers with high volume traffic and a lower risk of vandalism. They are also ideal for shower stalls because they are bacterial resistant.
Solid plastic washroom partitions are contiguously colored throughout. The partition itself is made from a solid, molded piece of plastic. It is very hard to dent, and most graffiti can be easily wiped off. Because it is not layered and pressed, it will not peel. If damaged, it represents a more affordable repair option in the event that its surface is marred by a sharp pen or knife. A heat gun, along with an affordable repair kit, can be used to melt plastic into cuts or dents in the surface. Since the plastic is contiguously colored throughout, it does not require repainting.
Both phenolic core and solid plastic washroom partitions are available in a wide range of color options. Pool centers who wish to go green might want to consider phenolic core because they are not GREENGUARD Certified as low emitting materials. Many solid plastic partitions are also available in 100% post consumer recycled material. Solid plastic partitions can also be ordered with European no-site styling for additional user privacy.
