 These Pedestal CBU Mailboxes are designed for multiple users and approved for USPS Mail and Package Delivery. CBU'S come equipped with Outgoing Mail Slots and Parcel Compartments. USPS pedestal group mailboxes are designed to meet USPS code and manufactured under strict regulations. All CBU'S are manufactured according to USPS "F" Specifications. Also known as Cluster Mailboxes (CBU'S), these mailboxes come in Four Configurations depending on number of tenant boxes required.
Ideal for commercial and residential developments, the main USPS doors are front loading to make mail delivery and packages easy for the USPS sorting and delivery. Each tenant door comes with a heavy duty cam lock and 3 keys for added security. Stamped number placards are included. Custom engraved placards are available as an option. Designed to work in all weather, CBU'S are fabricated in aluminum and hardware is stainless steel. Each door is sealed to keep weather and moisture away from mail.
Cluster Mailbox Units feature an outgoing mail slot that is located securely in the compartment behind the master door. Tenant compartments are designed to accommodate large envelopes, small parcels and check boxes. Parcel lockers allow tenants to receive larger packages that will not fit in tenant compartments.
Parcel lockers work with a key capture system that secures the parcel locker key in place after the tenant removes their parcel. Depending on the number of tenants and package requirements, one to two parcels are included in these cluster mailboxes.
Choose from 8, 12, 13 and 16 Door CBU Units. Eight door CBU comes equipped with 2 parcels, Twelve door units come with one parcel, 16 door units with two parcels, and 13 door units with one parcel. Postal code requires 1 parcel for every 10 tenants. Typical box sizes are 30 1/2"W x 17"D. Matching pedestals are included with each mailbox. Choose from 6 Color Choices or ask about Custom Colors for as an upgrade.
The pad site for CBU mailbox installation must be engineered for surface mounting. Detailed pad site specifications are available upon request. Concrete must have a compressive strength of 3000 PSI. Four 4" x .50 diameter anchor bolts are required for mounting. Tools required for installation include a flat screwdriver, 3/8" Socket Wrench, Pliers and a McGard Screwdriver.
 Decorative Tops and Pedestal Covers are available as an upgrade. Decorative tops fasten to the mailbox crown and a ornamental finial sits atop the pinnacle. Decorative pedestal covers attach to surface mounting pedestal and fan around base to form an ornamental column veneer.
These USPS Cluster Mailboxes are approved for new and reconstruction. All proposals are provided with Technical Drawings, Specifications, Color Charts and Example Images. These attachments can be forwarded to the US Post Master in your district for approval. Once your mailboxes are complete, contact your Post Master and inform them that your Mailboxes are ready for USPS Arrow Lock installation and mail delivery.
